SAVE-THE-DATE FOR COVES 2008 – SEPTEMBER 17-19, 2008
The 2008 Commonwealth of Virginia Energy and Sustainability Conference (COVES) will focus on “Meeting the Climate Change Challenge.” The Conference takes place September 17-19, 2008 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, Virginia.
The Climate Change Challenge, which is facing the state and the nation, provides opportunities for policy solutions, technological innovation, and economic development. The conference will bring forth information on the actions that public and private organizations in Virginia and across the country are taking to meet the most pressing environmental issue of this century.
Nationally recognized speakers, as well as regional representatives from business, institutions, and government, will address the opportunities to reduce energy use and carbon emissions while keeping the economy and our communities strong.
